October 30, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Sept 2026, 824 foreigners purchased real estate in Azerbaijan.

According to the State Service for Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy, citizens of the Russian Federation predominate among foreign citizens who purchase real estate.

Thus, Russian citizens purchased 588 properties, which is 71.4% of the total.

The following places were taken by citizens of Georgia with 80 properties and Turkey with 51 properties. This is followed by citizens of Iran (17), Kazakhstan (14), Germany (12), Albania (8), Israel (7), the USA (6) and Pakistan (6).

The rest of the property was acquired by citizens of Iraq, Ukraine, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Great Britain, France, China and other countries, by 1-5 units each.
