October 28, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Sept 2026, the premiums of Qala Həyat Sığorta OJSC declined by 11.5% (2.613 million manats) against the 2025 same term up to 20.129 million manats and compensation payments grew sharply by 76.4% (1.651 million manats) up to 3.811 million manats.

Amid the lower premiums and a sharp rise in payments, company's payout-to-fee ratio has almost doubled: from 9.5% for Jan-Sept 2025 up to 18.9%.

This indicator shows that out of every 100 manats of company’s premiums, nearly 19 manats are allocated for compensation payments, which shows an increased financial burden on the company.

The company has been operating in the life insurance market since 2010. Its authorized capital is 13.04 million manats, and the controlling stake (50%) belongs to AzRe Təkrarığorta.
