Turkish Airlines Q3 Net Profit Beats Estimates at $1.3 Billion Despite Fuel Pressure

20:21 - 4.11.2026

November 3, Fineko/abcnews. Turkish Airlines (THY) announced its financial results for Q3 2026, recording a net profit of $1.3 billion, outperforming the market consensus of $1.1 billion despite surging global energy costs.

Quarterly revenue rose 19% year-over-year to $8.3 billion, bringing total 9-month revenue to $21.4 billion (+20%). High jet fuel prices boosted operational expenses by 59%, squeezing the EBITDA margin down to 25.4%. However, strong passenger demand and a 46% surge in cargo revenue ($1.2 billion) offset margin pressures. Passenger volume grew 5% to 73 million in the first 9 months, with the load factor improving to 85%.
