Zhang Yiming, founder of TikTok's parent company ByteDance, has emerged as Asia's richest person with a net worth of $105.5 billion), overtaking Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani ($104.8 billion).

Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries, ranks third with $81.3 billion, followed by Fast Retailing (Uniqlo) founder Tadashi Yanai at $63.7 billion, and Nongfu Spring founder Zhong Shanshan at $59.1 billion.

The top tier of Asia's wealthiest business figures also includes:

• Zeng Yuqun (CATL): $52.2 billion
