September 15, Fineko/abc.az. In the 1st half of 2026, the residents of Azerbaijan invested $5 bn  directly in the economy of foreign countries.

CBA Statistics Department’s director Samir Nasirov said this at a press conference at the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

He noted that this figure is 3.7-fold higher than in the 1st half of 2025.

Nasirov added that direct investments made by foreign residents in the Azerbaijani economy amounted to $3.7 bn (a rise of 13.8% against the Jan-Jun 2025 figure).
