Premium German automaker Audi has unveiled its all-new compact "A2 e-tron" electric vehicle, aimed at solidifying its footprint in the European small-car segment and reigniting global sales growth. The launch serves as a direct strategic response to the rapid influx of lower-cost electric models from Chinese manufacturers in the European market.

Manufactured at Audi's flagship Ingolstadt facility, the A2 e-tron delivers a maximum driving range of up to 646 km (401 miles) under WLTP standards, making it the brand's most energy-efficient EV to date. European order books open on September 10 with a starting price of €38,200 in Germany, with initial customer deliveries scheduled for December 2026.
