September 1, Fineko/abc.az. Construction works on the Zangezur Corridor (TRIPP project) are expected to begin in the spring of next year.

The statement was made by Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan in an interview with local public television.

The Foreign Minister emphasized that the transit of electricity is likely to start earlier than the construction of the railway line: "We, as well as the U.S. and other interested parties, believe that the transportation of electricity can be implemented earlier than the railway project, as this process is relatively easier to execute."
