December 13, Fineko/abc.az  Next year’s production from oilfield block Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli located in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea is expected to be at the level of 2018.

BP vice president for foreign relations & strategic issues in Azerbaijan, Georgia & Turkey Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli has stated that increase of production from the field next year is not planned.

"We even expect a certain decline, but we’ll try to keep production at the level of the current year," he said.

He pointed out that the work plan on Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli for 2019 was also approved. The plan includes preventive works at platforms Central Azeri in the 2d quarter and West Chirag in October of 2019.
