Cabinet of Ministers Approves Accounting Rules for Insured Parties and Policyholders

August 4, Fineko/abc.az. Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov has signed a decree approving the "Rules for the Registration and Accounting of Insured Persons and Policyholders by the Insurer Based on Information Provided by Policyholders."

According to the approved regulations, a comprehensive list of accounting records to be registered by the insurer has been defined.

The policyholder's accounting data includes:

  • Name, legal and actual address, and contact numbers of the policyholder;

  • Tax Identification Number (TIN) and its date of issuance;

  • The date on which compulsory insurance coverage by the Fund commenced for the policyholder;

  • Information regarding the dates of reorganization or liquidation of the policyholder;

  • Calculated, paid, and remaining balance (if applicable) amounts of insurance contributions at the beginning of the budget year;

  • Overpaid insurance premiums and amounts refunded by the Fund;

  • Details regarding the transfer of paid insurance premiums to the new policyholder(s) identified as legal successors following a corporate reorganization.
