July 29, Fineko/abc.az. Demand deposits of legal entities amounted to 16.895 bn manats (75.7% of their overall deposit portfolio).

According to the CBA, for Jan-Jun 2026, banks received 716.3 million manats in net profit and 1.86 bn manats in operating profit.

The banking sector paid 171.1 million manats of profit tax to the State Budget.

In addition, as of the end of June, Azerbaijan numbered 504 bank branches, 83 sub-branches, and 3,503 ATMs.

In the reporting month, the number of employees in the banking sector grew by 88 people, or 0.3%, up to 27,462.
