July 16, Fineko/abc.az. According to Energy Ministry’s latest data, there have been sharp changes in Azerbaijan's electricity trade figures for Jan-Jun 2026. In the 1st half of the year, electricity exports from Azerbaijan decreased 2.9-fold in annual terms, reaching 241.2 million kWh.

Against the backdrop of such a sharp decline in exports, electricity imports into the country grew by 39.5% up to 113.1 million kWh for Jan-Jun 2026.
