July 10, Fineko/abc.az. After an 8-month break, the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan organized a deposit auction for placement of the funds of the treasury account in the national currency in local banks in order to manage the State Budget funds more effectively.

The MoF informs that as a result of the auction, the balance of the treasury account in the amount of 73 million manats was placed in four commercial banks of the country for a deposit for 28 days with weighted average interest rate of 7.24%.
