July 6, Fineko/abc.az. Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) has launched a new platform for marketing and trading liquefied natural gas (LNG) based on the Abu Dhabi Global Market.

The new structure combines the functions of the international investment division XRG and the trading business of ADNOC Trading, which will increase efficiency and flexibility in the global LNG market. Long-term sales are centralized, while existing contracts are preserved.

The company expects to optimize its supply chain, including the Ruwais LNG project, and increase its sales volume to 47 million tons per year by 2035. Additionally, a Director for LNG Development has been appointed to oversee the combined portfolio of XRG and ADNOC Gas.
