Switzerland invested $13.256 million in Azerbaijani economy for Q1

July 3, Fineko/abc.az. In the 1st quarter of 2026, Switzerland's direct investments in the Azerbaijani economy amounted to $13.256 million.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to Central Bank of Azerbaijan's report "Foreign Direct Investments Attracted to the Azerbaijani Economy & Directed to the Economies of Foreign Countries in the 1st Quarter of 2026".

According to the CBA, this figure is $2.471 million, or 22.9% more versus Q1 of 2025.

In addition, according to the CBA, Switzerland's share in overall foreign direct investments made for Azerbaijan was 0.8%.

In the 1st quarter of 2026, the FDIs’ in the Azerbaijani economy reached $1.72 billion ($201.2 million, or 13.2% more, versus Q1 of 2025).

According to the CBA, Azerbaijan’s direct investments in the economies of foreign countries totaled $1.11 billion (3.5-fold, or $794.7 million, more against Q1 of 2025).
