May 8, Fineko/abc.az. A delegation led by the chairman of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group, Mohammed Al-Jasir, visited the Alat Free Economic Zone.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Ministry of Economy, that during the visit, Deputy Economy Minister Samad Bashirli and FEZ’s chairman of board Valeh Aleskerov met with the delegation.

The guests were informed about the investment climate of the economic zone, the special legal regime, incentive mechanisms, ready-made infrastructure and logistical advantages, and information was provided on the investment climate, special legal regime, incentive mechanisms, ready-made infrastructure and logistical advantages. It was noted that the projects in the economic zone and the ongoing infrastructure work create favorable business environment for investors.

Highly appreciating the work done, M.Al-Jasir emphasized the importance of the international airport project and noted that  introduction of one stop shop principle increases attractiveness of the investment climate.

The delegation got acquainted with the conditions created in the Alat FEZ, followed the work on light industry and the construction process of the international airport.
