Population’s nominal income increased by 9.4% and reached 63.5 bn manats

September 9, Fineko/abc.az. The nominal income of the Azerbaijani population amounted to 63.5 bn manats for Jan-Aug 2026 (9.4% more against Jan-Aug 2025), the State Statistics Committee reports.

The dynamics of income growth is supported by gradual indexation of wages in the country, expansion of social benefits, and growth of employment in the non-oil private sector.

This increase in nominal income of the population has positive effect on its purchasing power, exceeding the average annual inflation rate (5.7%) recorded over the same period.
