May 1, Fineko/abc.az. According to the financial statements of Meqa Sığorta OJSC, company's net profit in the first quarter of 2026 decreased sharply versus Q1 of 2025.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to company's report that according to the results of Jan-Mar 2026, net profit ttaled 124,000 manats (nearly 89.6% less versus Q1 of 2025, when profit reached 1.15 million manats).

The drop in profits is linked with decrease in revenues and a simultaneous rise in company's expenses.

Insurer’s overall earnings amounted to 7.57 million manats (5.8% less against Jan-Mar 2025).

Earlier, the reduction of premiums on compulsory civil liability insurance for vehicle owners had noticeable impact on the structure of company's insurance portfolio.
