Part of income in Olympic sports complexes was accepted in cash without registration - Breaches

April 22, Fineko/abc.az. The Accounts Chamber of Azerbaijan revealed serious financial irregularities and management gaps during the audit of the Olympic sports complexes under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Youth & Sports.

ABC.AZ informs that in most complexes, financial statements are not prepared, part of the income is accepted in cash without registration, and tax obligations are not properly fulfilled.

The Chamber notes that the sports infrastructure is expanding, but the number of employees is decreasing, which indicates that the existing potential is not being used effectively.
