April 20, Fineko/abc.az. The insurance portfolio of AtaSığorta has been transferred to Atəşgah Sığorta Şirkəti.

ABC.AZ informs that insurance contracts concluded between AtaSığorta and citizens have been transferred to Atəşgah Sığorta Şirkəti OJSC since April 10.

That is, if a citizen, whose property or liability has been insured by AtaSığorta so far, encounters any insured event or has any claim, then he will have to contact Atəşgah about this.

This rule is regulated by Article 72 of the Law on Insurance Activities.

At the end of 2025, the accumulative portfolio of AtaSığorta amounted to 10.31 million manats. On January 6, the Central Bank restricted insurance sales to the insurance company and appointed the company as a temporary administrator. The transfer of insurance company's portfolio of obligations to another insurance company means that the CBA will also revoke the insurance company's license in the near future.
