April 14, Fineko/abc.az. By the end of 2025, the value of the portfolio of mortgage loans of Azerbaijani banks amounted to 4.6 bn manats, ABC.AZ informs, referring to the annual Financial Stability Report of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

According to the document, the figure is 8.4% or 356 million manats more than at the end of 2024.

An increase by 251 million manats occurred due to the State Mortgage Program, and by 105 million manats — due to the internal mortgage program of banks. Currently, mortgage loans given at the expense of the state account for 55.9% of the total mortgage portfolio (2.57 bn manats), and the amount of mortgage loans given at the expense of banks' own funds is 44.1% of the portfolio (2.03 bn manats).
