April 14, Fineko/abc.az. Armenia is entering a new stage of economic development in connection with the expected peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a meeting with entrepreneurs.
He added that important events are expected in the near future, primarily relating to TRIPP, which is of key importance for overcoming country's transport isolation.
Pashinyan stressed that rail cargo transportation to Armenia is already underway, in particular through the territory of Georgia, and a railway connection through the territory of Azerbaijan is to be opened within the TRIPP.
"The political agreement is that this railway will never be closed. In other words, it is a reliable route for both import and export," he said.
