April 13, Fineko/abc.az. Solar panels have been installed on the roofs of more than 2,000 residential buildings and public buildings in the Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur economic regions.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the Ministry of Energy that capacity of those solar panels is more than 7,000 kWh.

"Rooftop solar panels, which are one of the main elements of modern urban planning, play an important role in turning Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur into a green energy zone. This approach increases energy efficiency and contributes to the further sustainable and eco-friendly development of these regions," the MoE says.
