April 6, Fineko/abc.az. In the 1st quarter of 2026, 353 mortgage loans for 29.9 million manats were given at the expense of the Azerbaijan Mortgage & Credit Guarantee Fund.

Compared with Q1 of 2025, the figure is 4.2-fold and 3.55-fold less, respectively, ABC.AZ informs with the AMCGF.

Over Jan-Mar 2026, 115 ordinary mortgage loans for 12.2 million manats and 238 preferential mortgage loans for 17.7 million manats were given.

One year ago, 743 ordinary mortgage loans for 83 million manats and 508 preferential mortgage loans for 41.9 million manats were given.

In general, since 2006, the amount of mortgage loans given at the expense of the AMCGF has reached 3.8 billion manats, which has improved the living conditions of more than 57,000 families.

In order to ensure access of the population with insufficient personal fees to mortgage loans with a lower down payment, 1,497 mortgage loans for 140.8 million manats were guaranteed as of April 1, 2026. As of April 1, 2025, 1,211 mortgage loans for 107.4 million manats were guaranteed.

At the expense of the AMCGF, the share of young people and young families among mortgage loan recipients was 67%, while about 22% of loans were in the regions.
