March 17, Fineko/abc.az. Last year, the direct investments of the Asian Development Bank in Azerbaijan amounted to $7.355 million ($14.081 million, or 2.9-fold less than in 2024), ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

The share of investments realized in ADB made up 0.1% in overall foreign direct investments in Azerbaijan in 2025.

In 2024, ADB’s overall foreign direct investments in Azerbaijan reached $21.436 million.

In 2025, foreign direct investments in the Azerbaijani economy exceeded $6.595 billion ($450.9 million, or 6.4% less than in 2024).

At the same time, foreign direct investments from Azerbaijan into the external economy for 2025 amounted to $2.528 billion ($765.4 million or 43.4% more than in 2024).
