CBA official: Measures taken to combat cases of cybercrime

March 12, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan is finalizing work on a "voluntary credit ban" mechanism.

ABC.AZ informs that CBA deputy chair Togrul Aliyev made this statement at a forum held in Baku.

He pointed out that work is currently being completed on a new security tool – the "voluntary credit ban" mechanism: "This mechanism will allow citizens to voluntarily set restrictions on remote loan processing in their name. And this will significantly reduce the risks of fraud."

He noted that the CBA is taking large-scale measures to protect consumer rights and combat cybercrime in the digital financial ecosystem.
