Oil price goes down, Brent - $92.79 a barrel

March 10, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades dropped more than by 6% in Tuesday’s trading after growth the day before.

As of 09:14, at the ICE Futures exchange, the price of May’s Brent crude futures fell by $6.17 (6.23%) to $92.79 per barrel. Following the trading on March 9, May’s Brent futures rose by $6.27 (6.76%) up to $98.96 per barrel.

By 09:14, at the NYMEX exchange, the price of April’s WTI crude oil futures decreased by $6.40 (6.75%) to $88.37 per barrel. Following the trading on March 9, WTI futures for April grew in price by $3.87 (4.26%) up to $94.77 per barrel.

Prices are rolling back from the highs in more than 3 years reached on Monday, when both brands were traded around $120 per barrel.

Last week, crude oil Brent rose by 27.20% and WTI by 35.63%.
