March 4, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Feb 2026, a total of 25,046,600 manats were returned from the State Budget to individuals and legal entities in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Ministry of Finance, that the return of finances related to the refund of VAT paid by foreigners when purchasing goods in the country that are not intended for production and commercial purposes, as well as VAT paid by individuals in the retail trade, catering, culture (theaters, cinemas, museums, concerts), medical services and hotel services in the liberated territories.

In addition, VAT paid for the non-cash purchase of residential and non-residential premises from persons engaged in the construction of buildings, as well as overpaid taxes, government duties, interest and financial penalties, has been refunded to citizens.
