U.S. expects $2 bn in revenue from Venezuelan oil in February

February 27, Fineko/abc.az. Revenue from sales of Venezuelan oil under U.S. control will reach $2 bn by the end of February.

ABC.AZ reports, quoting U.S. Secretary of Energy Chris Wright.

The U.S. Secretary of Energy, in particular, expects that by the end of the month nearly 40 million barrels of oil will be sold at the price of nearly $50 a barrel. Sales of hydrocarbons from the Bolivarian republic go to consumers from Asia and Europe, the official said.

Wright added that Chinese independent refineries will be able to buy Venezuelan oil on the open market.
