February 26, Fineko/abc.az. According to the IMF report, maintaining the current U.S.’ budget deficit at 7-8% will lead to an increase in public debt up to 140% of GDP by 2031.

ABC.AZ informs that IMF experts emphasize that such dynamics threaten not only the American economy, but also the stability of the entire global financial system.

To prevent a crisis, the IMF is calling on Washington to develop a clear plan to strengthen fiscal discipline.
