February 5, Fineko/abc.az. The Asian Development Bank has approved the technical assistance in the amount of $2 million for the project "Support for the development and application of the indicator of private capital attraction".

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the Central Bank that Azerbaijan was also among the developing countries in the project.

The technical assistance will be funded by a special technical assistance fund and aims to develop a comprehensive methodology for systematically measuring and stimulating private sector participation in various projects in ADB member countries.

In addition to Azerbaijan, the initiative covers Central Asia, South and Southeast Asia, as well as the Pacific region.

The main objective of the project is to strengthen the ADB's analytical base for private capital mobilization and institutional capacity building in the member countries.
