Taleh Kazimov: Foreign trade surplus reaches $662 million

February 4, Fineko/abc.az. "Azerbaijan's current account surplus is expected to amount to $3.7 billion."

ABC.AZ informs, quoting CBA governor Taleh Kazimov as saying this at the CBA press conference.

He noted that in the first 9 months of 2025, GDP surplus made up 5.4% of GDP.

"Our forecast for the current account for 2026 is $2.7–2.8 billion," he said.

 Kazimov stressed that according to the annual customs statistics, foreign trade surplus reaches $662 million: "However, for a more accurate analysis, we exclude gold imports from this indicator. After that, the foreign trade surplus is $6.9 billion."
