January 29, Fineko/abc.az. AzerGold CJSC, one of the main state-owned exporting companies of the non-oil/gas sector of Azerbaijan, successfully conducted its first export operation in January 2026.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the company, that as a result of the sale of the first batch of gold and silver supplied to international markets, 32.9 million manats were attracted to country's economy.

By the end of 2025, the state-owned company sold a total of 73,200 ounces of gold and 93,200 ounces of silver at international and domestic markets. The overall revenue from those sales reached 439.3 million manats (43% higher than in 2024).

During its activity, AzerGold CJSC sold 560,500 ounces of gold and 1.04 million ounces of silver, as a result of which 1.9 billion manats were attracted to the domestic economy.
