January 26, Fineko/abc.az. Following 2025, the dynamics of annual growth in the operating profit of banks in Azerbaijan has been announced.

ABC.AZ reports that last year, a number of banks recorded a significant increase in operating profitability.

The ranking is headed by Bank of Baku. Its operating profit increased by 96.6% compared with the previous year (a rise of 19.708 million manats in absolute terms).

The 2nd place was taken by the Baku branch of Bank Melli Iran (growth - 45.0%, or 1.198 million manats).

VTB Bank (Azerbaijan) holds the 3rd position with growth rate of 39.4% (absolute growth – 2.845 million manats).

The following positions in the list with the same growth rate (36.4%) are shared by Bank Respublika and Ziraat Bank Azərbaycan. In absolute terms, their growth reached 21.975 million manats and 11.76 million manats, respectively.
