January 26, Fineko/abc.az. There are more than 500,000 undocumented homes in Azerbaijan, with total value of more than 50 billion manats.

ABC.AZ informs that the director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communications (CAERC), Vusal Gasimli, made the relevant statement during one of the events held in Baku.

According to Gasimli, documenting these homes can create significant economic potential for the insurance sector: "Determining the legal status of this property will both ensure the protection of citizens' property rights and expand the coverage of insurance. Insurance of such a significant volume of real estate can generate significant financial turnover for the sector."
