December 2, Fineko/abc.az. There is further accumulation of grain wagons in Kazakhstan on routes to Central Asia and China, which constrains exports and leads to shortages of wheat and flour in traditional markets.
ABC.AZ informs, quoting Yevgeny Karabanov, the head of the analytical committee of the Grain Union of Kazakhstan, that despite the partial authorization of shipments through Saryagash station, the difficult situation with overloaded wagons and abandoned trains remains. For December, KTZ agreed on plans taking into account the infrastructural capabilities of Uzbekistan's railways.
Wheat prices did not change significantly during the week: in the domestic market, wheat of the 3rd class costs 85,000-138,000 tenge/ton, class 4 - 76,000-80,000 tenge/ton, class 5 - 70,000-74,000 tenge/ton. Export prices were: Class 3 - $215-298/ton, Class 4 - $200-205/ton, Class 5 - $193-197/ton.
