November 24, Fineko/abc.az. For Jan-Sept 2025, Azerbaijan demonstrated an increase in revenues from hotels and hotel-type facilities, but the higher dynamics of the increase in the cost of services had impact on their profits.
ABC.AZ informs that the total income of enterprises for this period reached 494.2 million manats (nearly 5.5% more versus Jan-Sept 2024. The growth was mainly driven by funds received from the provision of rooms and catering services.
The largest share in the revenue structure is occupied by the sale of rooms (308.3 million manats), followed by catering services (132.6 million manats). The income from medical and wellness services amounted to 13.9 million manats, and approx. 33.3 million manats from other services.
The cost of production and maintenance of hotels reached 400.5 million manats. The main part of expenses is directed to wages (129.2 million manats), other operating expenses (123.1 million manats) and goods purchased for making drinks and meals (65.4 million manats). Energy and fuel costs reached 29.3 million manats and taxes - 34 million manats.
Thus, the total profit of the sector for the first 3 quarters of 2025 amounted to approx. 93.6 million manats (for Jan-Sept 2024 — close to 106 million manats).
The State Statistics Committee reported last month that the number of overnight stays in hotels and hotel-type facilities for Jan-Sept 2025 grew by 6.1% versus the 2024 same term up to 3.469 million manats.
