November 12, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan exported 5,384 tons of pears for $3.45 million for Jan-Aug 2025 (34% more in value terms and 26% more in quantity versus the 2024 same term), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

Azerbaijan exported 5,109 tons (+26%) for $3.3 million to Russia (33% more than a year earlier), 150 tons (-28%) for $72,000 (-27%) to Kazakhstan, and 15.72 tons (+73%) for $24,800 to Qatar (+2.6-fold), 26 tons for $20,600 to Belarus (no supplies a year ago), 38.8 tons (+5-fold) for $15,500 (+2-fold) to the UAE.

This year, for the first time in the last 14 years (note: official statistics on foreign trade are publicly available for 2011), shipments were made to Georgia (5 tons for $2,500), Moldova (1.6 tons for $800), Mongolia (7 tons for $5,600) and Turkey (17 for $12,800). Out of the 9,100 tons of pears exported from Azerbaijan in 2024, 95% were exported to Russia.
