October 30, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Sept 2025, expenditures of the State Social Protection Fund increased by 480.76 million manats or by 9.34% against the 2024 same term.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to SSPF’s report, payments to the population made up 96.9% of expenditures.

From January to September 2025, the number of policyholders registered in the individual accounting system grew by 73,500 ones, or 3.47%, up to more than 2.188 million.

The number of registered policyholders increased more than by 11,900 on legal entities, 58,300 on individuals and 3,300 on land owners.

The SSPF is a state institution responsible for financing and managing the social insurance and pension system in Azerbaijan. SSPF’s main task is to collect social insurance contributions, pay pensions and benefits, and ensure the sustainability of the social protection system.
