September 17, Fineko/abc.az. In the 1st half of 2026, individuals transferred a total of $46 million from the Persian Gulf countries - the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kuwait - to Azerbaijan. This figure is 11.5% higher against $41.2 million recorded for Jan-Jun 2025.

The largest amount of revenue accounted for the UAE, increasing by 25.4% (from $18.5 million up to $23.3 million).

Transfers from Qatar grew by 3.2% up to $8.7 million and receipts from Kuwait by 14.7% up to $1.9 million, while transfers from Saudi Arabia decreased by 3.9% to $12.2 million.

At that, the outgoing transfers from Azerbaijan to the UAE declined by 24.4% to $8.5 million.
