October 23, Fineko/abc.az. By 2026, social expenditures in Azerbaijan (budget expenditures on the wage fund, food purchases, scholarships and social benefits, purchase of medicines, dressings and supplies, costs of compulsory medical insurance and other social support measures) are projected to make up 41.1% of State Budget expenditures, or 17.145 billion manats.

ABC.AZ informs that this is reflected in the draft budget package for 2026.

According to the document, the indicator is 1.3% more than in 2025.
