October 23, Fineko/abc.az. In July-September 2025, the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) acquired 3.7 tons of gold.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to SOFAZ that the Fund increased its gold reserves up to 184.8 tons.

As of October 1, 2025, the share of gold in SOFAZ's investment portfolio was 32.8%, which is 4 percentage points more than on July 1. In addition to gold purchases, a rise in its price also played a role in this growth.
