October 22, Fineko/abc.az. In 2005-2025, approx. 58 bn manats were allocated for Azerbaijan's defense expenditures, the power of our army was strengthened.
ABC.AZ reports that Deputy Finance Minister Azer Bayramov made the relevant statement at a scientific & practical conference of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship.
He pointed out that over the years, in order to strengthen Azerbaijan's national security and defense capability, strengthen the material and technical base, funds from the State Budget have been increased 29-fold and brought up to 8.4 bn manats.
The deputy minister noted that work on the restoration, rehabilitation, and reintegration of the liberated territories into the national economy continues at rapid pace: "21.6 bn manats have been allocated for these purposes in 2021-2025."
