October 9, Fineko/abc.az.Central Bank of Azerbaijan’s main purpose in the area of supervision is to ensure development of licensed organizations.

ABC.AZ reports that CBA deputy chairman Vusal Khalilov stated about this at Baku Fintech Forum 2025.

He noted that the internal systems of organizations must respond effectively to the challenges they face:

"Therefore, we are implementing both classical-style mechanisms and working on risk-based control, which is reflected in the Financial Sector Development Strategy for 2024-2026. This allows for more effective control using a modern intelligent model."
