September 24, Fineko/abc.az. In the first 6 months of 2025, the volume of money transfers between Azerbaijan and the United States increased dramatically.

The money transfers from the U.S. to individuals in Azerbaijan grew from $30.5 million up to $52.1 million, ABC.AZ informs with reference to the Central Bank. An increase was 71%.

And money transfers from Azerbaijan to the U.S. increased from $28.2 million up to $40 million. An increase was 42%.

Thus, the share of the U.S. in money transfers sent to Azerbaijan grew from 5.4% up to 9.8%.

In general, the money transfers received in Azerbaijan decreased by 6% versus Jan-Jun 2024 from $567.8 million to $534 million. On the other hand, funds transferred abroad fell from $259.6 million to $238.2 million (8% less).
