September 22, Fineko/abc.az. There are wide opportunities between Azerbaijan and the European Union countries not only in the field of traditional energy, but also in the field of renewable energy sources.

ABC.AZ informs that Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov made the relevant statement at the Azerbaijan International Investment Forum (AIIF -2025) in Baku.

He pointed out that Italy remains Azerbaijan's main trade and economic partner among the countries: "It is linked with the fact that it is an important market for Azerbaijani oil and gas. We believe this is not about one country – we currently supply gas to 14 countries, most of which are European."

Speaking about diversification, Jabbarov stressed that one of the distinctive features is that our country not only invites local or foreign investors to build a business in Azerbaijan, but is also ready to share risks.
