September 1, Fineko/abc.az. China’s Heihe Rural Commercial Bank has stopped accepting payments from Russia.

ABC.AZ reports that the Chinese bank was sanctioned by the EU on July 19, 2025, but payments from Russian banks to Heihe continued without issues for a month. The bank explained the delay as due to “internal infrastructure adjustments.”
