August 12, Fineko/abc.az.Compared with Jan-Jun 2024, Azerbaijan’s exports of fresh fruits from the most important products increased by 35.2% for Jan-Jun 2025, fresh vegetables by 10.6%, potatoes by 43.2%, sugar by 66.2%, vegetable oils by 31.0%, tea by 2.5%, mineral fertilizers by 17.2%, polyethylene by 4.5%, untreated aluminum by 7.8%, cement clinkers by 34.5%, ferrous metal pipes by 31.8%, cotton yarn by 26.1%, and exports of fruit and vegetable juices decreased by 14.2%, canned fruits and vegetables by 9.1%, tobacco by 48.6%, margarine and other mixtures suitable for human consumption by 30.8%, natural grape wines and grape must by 37.2%, cotton fiber by 12.7%, polypropylene by 5.5%, electricity by 26.5%, ferrous metal rods by 33.3%, bentonite clay by 12.6%, ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Statistics Committee. 

Azerbaijan’s imports of wheat grew by 56%, butter, other dairy fats and spreads by 0.3%, raw sugar by 40.6%, tea by 7.2%, potatoes by 20.1%, fresh vegetables by 33.4%, cigarettes 3.4-fold, motor vehicles by 24.2%, household air conditioners by 26.6%, rubber tires by 19.7%, trucks by 0.2%, ferrous metal rods by 29.7%, furniture by 0.2%, polyethylene by 9%, buses 2.4-fold, polypropylene by 5.4%, household refrigerators by 18.9%, while imports of vegetable oils decreased by 5.4%, fresh fruits by 16.4%, chocolate and chocolate products by 1.3%, flour confectionery by 2.9%, poultry meat and its offal by 15.4%, beef by 18.3%, pharmaceuticals by 14.6%, rolled steel by 0.2%, ferrous metal pipes by 29.3%, calculating machines, blocks and appliances by 16.1%, mineral fertilizers by 0.7%, synthetic detergents by 9.3%, washing machines by 5.4%, ferrous metal corners by 8.7%, cement by 12.7%.
