July 25, Fineko/abc.az. The credit unions in Azerbaijan completed Jan-Jun 2025 with  loss of 30,000 manats.

For Jan-Jun 2024, the credit unions suffered losses of 720,000 manats (24-fold less than a year earlier).

ABC.AZ informs that according to Central Bank’s statistical data, income of credit unions for Jan-Jun amounted to 1.03 million manats, interest expenses - 40,000 manats, and transfers to special reserves - 540,000 manats.

As of April 1, 2025, credit unions’ assets totaled 12.7 million manats (2.4% more than 1 year ago). Of them, 10.9 million manats account for loans to customers. Thus, the loan portfolio of credit unions increased by 9.3% year-on-year.
