July 24, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) is working over introduction of a system that allows employees of State Budget-financed institutions to receive salaries through any bank of their choice.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the CBA that this system can be launched before the end of 2025.

Information about this was provided at the meeting of CBA governor Taleh Kazimov with expert economists. The more than 3-hour meeting was devoted to discussion of monetary policy, the balance of payments, digital technologies, current trends in the financial sector and plans for the future.

Special attention was paid to the new financial instrument (hedging) developed by the regulator and its potential contribution to the economy of Azerbaijan.
