July 23, Fineko/abc.az. In 2026, the consumer loan portfolio will be close to 16%.

ABC.AZ informs that Taleh Kazimov, the governor of the regulator's board, made the relevant statement at a press conference at the Central Bank, dedicated to the parameters of the interest rate corridor.

According to CBA governor’s estimates, growth of the consumer loan portfolio by 10% has increasing effect on inflation by 0.34%.

"In 2026, the portfolio of consumer loans will reach about 16%, which will have an upward impact on inflation by 0.58%,"  Kazimov said.
